Magness Memorial Tree Farm, located near Wilsonville, Oregon, is the perfect outdoor education site for school and youth groups. You can choose to go at your own pace and take a self-guided tour or get personalized attention with our Walks and Talks program designed to complement topics being studied in the classroom.

 

Trip Planning Basics for
MAGNESS MEMORIAL TREE FARM

  • Funding for bus transportation is available for Oregon teachers from Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI). Application required.
  • Most groups allow 2-3 hours for Walks and Talks programs, including lunch stop.
  • Reservations for day and overnight use of the Education Center, Outdoor Classroom (large shelter), and bunkhouse camping facilities can be made by calling 503-488-2118.
  • Special Webelos Forester classes designed for completing scout badges are offered monthly.
